How we had 12 days for holidays in Spring we dediced go to the Grand Canyon. We had saved only $2200 for the trip. We spent $586 and 3 days on bus to go and come back, we arrived exhausted!!!. We stayed in a confortable and beautiful national park lodge for 8 nights and we spent only $352 on accomodations.
During our station there we did a lot of interesting things:
we contracted a guided hike for $125 per person, it was a little expensive, but was interesting!
We explored the Grand Canyon by different ways (on foot, by jeep, on mule, by plane and by helicopter ). We visited twice the GC Villague, where we bought souvenirs for friends and familiars.
It was a great holidays!!
